January 30, 2024

To deliver a best-in-class customer experience focused on solutions that serve farmers, CHS is building a 25,000-ton fertilizer hub in Hallock, Minnesota.

In a news release, CHS stated the fertilizer hub would increase storage in the area by 20,000 tons, helping to provide crop nutrients to customers.

The new plant is expected to open in spring 2025 and will be located on the same land as the CHS canola plant.

“CHS is dedicated to investing in the cooperative supply chain on behalf of our ag retail farmer-owners,” says Rick Dusek, executive vice president of ag retail. “This new facility will help our producers grow their business by increasing the speed and space of our assets while connecting with the global crop nutrients supply chain.”
