Rovensa Next names Adriana Boock as chief product officer

November 6, 2025

Rovensa Next has appointed Adriana Boock as its new chief product officer (CPO). This CPO role, established two years ago, was previously held by João Murta Cardoso on an interim basis, who will now resume his position as chief M&A officer on a fully dedicated basis.

Reporting directly to Javier Calleja, CEO of Rovensa Group, Boock will be taxed with supporting a single, cohesive vision across the Regulatory, R&D, Strategic Marketing, IP and PMO departments.

Boock brings nearly two decades of international experience in leadership roles at some of the agricultural sector’s most influential companies. Most recently, as global marketing director at Koppert and a member of the global leadership team in the Netherlands, Boock spearheaded a significant organizational transformation, successfully integrating marketing, innovation, and regulatory functions into a single, collaborative structure, strengthening the company’s leadership in biocontrol technologies.

Previously, as head of Crop Solutions at Clariant in Switzerland, Boock managed the global adjuvants and specialties portfolio. Prior to Clariant, at BASF in Brazil and Germany, she excelled at translating complex scientific insights into practical solutions and business strategies.

Boock holds an MBA and a postgraduate degree from leading Brazilian institutions (IBMEC and FGV), as well as executive education in marketing and leadership from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management in the U.S. She was named by Forbes in 2024 as one of the 50 women leading Brazilian agribusiness to the world.
