Sustainable Agro Solutions (SAS Group), a developer of biostimulants and specialty plant nutrition solutions, has acquired a majority stake in Agroquímica Codiagro, a Spanish producer of biostimulants, correctors, and specialty fertilizers.
This strategic acquisition, supported by Stirling Square Capital Partners, marks another step in SAS Group’s expansion plan. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based north of Valencia and with over 50 years of expertise, Codiagro specializes in formulations such as concentrated suspensions and advanced packaging technologies like Bag-in-Box. The acquisition will enable SAS to enhance its technological capabilities, diversify its product offerings, and strengthen its presence in Spain and international markets, says today’s statement.
Eduard Vallverdú, CEO of SAS Group, stated, “This partnership allows us to leverage our combined expertise to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to customers worldwide.”
The acquisition follows SAS Group’s recent purchases of Biovert (June 2023), Pevesa Agroscience (December 2024), and Aqua do Brasil (September 2025). When announcing the deal, Stirling Square said that its support has helped SAS nearly triple its revenues and EBITDA since its initial investment in 2021.
