AlgaEnergy expands to Turkey and Australia


AlgaEnergy has opened subsidiaries in Turkey and Australia.

In Turkey, the subsidiary is known as AlgaEnergy Biotechnology Industry and Trade LLC, and is based in Istanbul, Turkey, with Murat Karagöz acting as country manager. Karagöz, graduated in mechanical engineering from Yildiz Technical University and holds an MBA from Galatasaray University.

The Australia subsidiary is known as AlgaEnergy Australia New Zealand Pty. Ltd., and will be headed by Matthew Carabott as country manager. Carabott graduated with honors in biological sciences, specializing in biochemistry and botany, from Latrobe University.

According to Douglas Ry Wagner, AlgaEnergy’s president of international agribusiness, the company is dedicated to bringing the most innovative products to growers around the world.

“More farmers are integrating biology and chemistry to achieve better yields and healthier crops,” said Wagner. “Through AlgaEnergy’s expansion in Turkey and Australia we aim to help local markets by bringing our cutting-edge natural and sustainable technologies to promote crop and soil health.”
