Acceres acquires BIOTEK Agriculture

Acceres, a European Agricultural Contract Research Group, has acquired BIOTEK Agriculture, a field trial company founded in France 30 years ago.

Acceres is set up on three pillars including regulatory services, field trials and laboratories studies. The group was founded by the cooperation between GAB Consulting, a European regulatory consulting company offering registration services for the biopesticide, biocide and agrochemical industry, and Promovert, a south Europe field testing company.

After the acquisition of the field-testing activity of Phyteurop last year, this new strategic operation reinforces Acceres field testing capacities and capabilities and also enlarge its footprint across Europe and overseas.

Philippe Dalla Nora, who joined Acceres at the beginning of this year, is the new COO Field Research. He previously worked for eight years with SGS, after 23 years with Syngenta, and has a strong background in the CRO market.

Acceres aims to bring a complete range of services to address new client demands. Beyond organic growth, Acceres is planning new acquisitions to be able to offer its international clients the best coordination of high-quality services, putting together the best experts in their field.
