International Agriculture Consulting Group IACG & Global BioAg Linkages sign MoU to support Sustainable Agriculture and Improve Food Security


International Agriculture Consulting Group IACG and Global BioAg Linkages GBAL have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at ICFA Headquarters in New Delhi with the aim to bring global innovations to India.

The collaboration between GBAL and IACG will work towards sustainable agriculture, food security and climate smart agriculture to improve the living conditions of the Indian farming community through various projects, programs and capacity building initiatives. This affiliation envisions adding value to the entire value chain of farm produce and improving farm profitability which will lead to Doubling Farmers Income in India by 2022.

Speaking on the occasion Dr M J Khan Chairman Indian Council of Food and Agriculture which is an apex think tank for addressing policy issues concerning farmers, food and agro industries stated that “in India and across the world we need to bring awareness and knowledge of sustainable, reliable and creative solutions to improve the productivity of farms for food, feed and fuel and improve the quality of food they produce for consumers”. ICFA is serving as global platform for trade facilitation, partnerships, technology, investments and agribusiness services. IACG is one of the group organizations of ICFA.

Dr. Dinesh Chauhan, Director and CEO, IACG said “IACG which has been actively looking in for partnerships with leading consultants of the world in food and agriculture space, the collaboration between IACG and GBAL will bring lot of technological advancement to Indian farming community and this will further strengthen capabilities of both the organizations to work towards sustainable agriculture in India and elsewhere.
