Cinnerate approved for U.S. greenhouse vegetable growers

Cinnerate broad-spectrum insecticide, fungicide, and miticide has been approved for use by greenhouse vegetable growers to protect crops from disease, aphids and more. Cinnerate is distributed in the U.S. by Sym-Agro.

The active ingredient is based on cinnamon aldehyde, emulsified with potassium oleate. The innovative formulation provides high levels of control with low applications rates, and a high degree of crop safety.

Cinnerate is a fast acting knock down miticide and fungicide that stops disease, immobilizes and kills mites and other insects. It also provides broad-spectrum control of diseases including Alternaria leaf spot, Anthracnose, bacterial leaf blight, early blight, Fusarium, gray mould, powdery mildew, rust, white mould (Sclerotinia spp.), and more. It also features activity toward spores, mycelium and hyphae.

Cinnerate is an Organic Materials Review Institute-listed biopesticide with more than seven years of commercial use in high-value fruits, nuts, and vine crops. It has a 0-day PHI and is MRL exempt, so it can be used up to the day of harvest. This also allows treated vegetables to be safely exported to all countries.
