The Andermatt Group has launched its newest subsidiary, Andermatt Italia S.r.l., to provide a direct presence in Italy.
The company says the expansion represents a “significant milestone in the Group’s mission to provide innovative, sustainable alternatives to conventional plant protection products.”
Florian Cueni has been named the CEO of Andermatt Italia.
“The establishment of Andermatt Italia represents an important step for the Andermatt Group, enabling us to bring our wide range of sustainable solutions to farmers and producers in this key market,” said Daniel Zingg, CEO of Andermatt Group AG.
Andermatt Italia will address the specific needs of the local Italian market by offering global biological products, to “enhance agricultural productivity while protecting the environment.” The subsidiary will collaborate closely with Italian distributors, farmers and stakeholders, fostering sustainable agricultural practices throughout the region.
Founded in Switzerland in 1988, the Andermatt Group has 26 distribution companies and 11 manufacturing facilities, and delivers its products to more than 60 countries worldwide.
