Futureco Bioscience, a Spanish company specializing in biotechnological products, has opened a new subsidiary in Brazil as part of its Latin American expansion strategy.
This comes after commercial operations in the country since 2008.
“Brazil stands out as one of the main markets worldwide for biological products, known for its remarkable competitiveness and ongoing demand,” says María José Lis, director of business development and marketing at Futureco Bioscience. “At Futureco Bioscience, we have many years of technical experience in Latin America with crops of great commercial interest to Brazil, such as vegetables, tropical and temperate fruits, and extensive crops like soybeans, corn, coffee and sugarcane.”
The company has existing branches in Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and Colombia; and also operates in Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
Futureco Bioscience will initially expand its presence in the central-southern region of Brazil. The subsidiary, located in the state of Sao Paulo, will have Eric Massarico as its Director of Development. The company stated its goal is to gradually extend its influence to other areas, where it aims to establish new commercial partnerships for product distribution.
