Redox Bio-Nutrients has expanded its nitrogen technology portfolio with RDX-Flex, a new foliar product designed to give growers another option for supporting nitrogen use during the growing season.

RDX-Flex is a 10% urea nitrogen formulation for foliar application. It uses the same patented botanical-extract technology as Redox’s RDX-N, which is designed to support processes within the plant involved in nitrogen assimilation and the conversion of nitrogen into amino acids and other compounds associated with plant growth, yield and crop quality.

“RDX-Flex represents the next step in more than a decade of advancement in our nitrogen technology,” said Darin Moon, founder, owner and CEO of Redox Bio-Nutrients. “It gives growers more flexibility in how and when they put this technology to work, creating additional opportunities to support nitrogen utilization, yield and crop quality throughout the season.”

Moon said the new product builds on Redox’s work in nitrogen technology while expanding when the technology can be incorporated into a crop fertility program.

RDX-N and RDX-Flex are intended to serve different application timings. RDX-N is applied to the soil at planting, while RDX-Flex is designed for later foliar applications. According to Redox, both products are shelf stable, used at low application rates and compatible with a range of commonly applied crop inputs.

The products can be used separately or together depending on the crop, nitrogen strategy and existing fertility program.

RDX-Flex is now available through Redox Bio-Nutrients.
