Sustainable Agro Solutions completes integration of Pevesa Agroscience

April 22, 2026

Sustainable Agro Solutions (SAS) has announced the full integration of Pevesa Agroscience, marking a significant milestone in its strategy for growth and consolidation as a global leader in agricultural biosolutions.

The integration follows SAS’s 2024 acquisition of Pevesa Agroscience, the agricultural division of Pevesa Biotech, which was described as a key transaction in the company’s expansion plans.

Pevesa Agroscience brings to SAS a unique asset of strategic importance: access to plant-based amino acids obtained through enzymatic hydrolysis technology. This advanced technology preserves the quality and functionality of amino acids, optimizing their uptake by crops and enhancing their physiological impact.

By incorporating this expertise into its operations, SAS says it has elevated the technological level of its formulations, enabling the development of more efficient solutions with high agronomic performance.

“This acquisition represents a decisive step in our growth strategy, as it incorporates a strategic raw material and a unique technology that reinforce our capacity for innovation and allow us to continue advancing toward our goal of global leadership in agricultural biosolutions,” said Eduard Vallverdú, CEO of SAS.

The integration also strengthens SAS’s R&D capabilities, opening new opportunities in biostimulation and advanced plant nutrition. With Pevesa Agroscience’s technical know-how and shared vision for innovation, SAS is better positioned to address the current challenges facing agriculture, says the company.
