Rovensa Next has unveiled Otimais Duo, its advanced dual-microbial inoculant, in Brazil.
Designed to maximize nutrient efficiency and deliver consistent yield improvements, Otimais Duo represents a significant step forward in sustainable farming practices, notes the company.

The product combines two microbial strains – Azospirillum brasilense Ab-V5 and Pseudomonas fluorescens BR14810 – that work synergistically to enhance nitrogen fixation, phosphorus solubilization, and plant growth. The company says this technology integrates seamlessly into conventional fertilization programs, boosting root development, vegetative growth, and crop resilience.
“As growers seek greater efficiency from every input, biological solutions are becoming central to modern crop nutrition. Otimais Duo has been developed within this context as a science-based tool designed to enhance the performance of conventional fertilization programs,” said Victor Sonzogno, Head of Brazil at Rovensa Next.
Otimais Duo’s efficacy is backed by extensive field trials conducted on 10 crops across seven countries. In maize, 58 trials showed an average yield increase of 1,302 kg per hectare, with some locations achieving gains of up to 3,210 kg per hectare. Soybean trials also demonstrated strong results, with 39 trials recording an average yield increase of 600 kg per hectare.
The product’s performance is particularly notable when used alongside mineral fertilizers, confirming its role as an efficiency enhancer rather than a substitute. “Otimais Duo acts as an efficiency enhancer, optimizing nutrient dynamics and improving plant assimilation rather than compensating for nutrient reductions,” the company stated.
Otimais Duo aligns with Rovensa Next’s Biosolutionize Agriculture movement, which aims to make farming more efficient, profitable, and sustainable.
