New Ag International becomes the Partner magazine of the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA)
New Ag International has become the official partner publication of IBMA. The International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA) is the worldwide association of biocontrol industries producing microorganisms, macroorganisms, semiochemicals and natural pesticides for plant protection and public health. With members throughout the World, IBMA has become the only worldwide organisation for biological crop protection, sustainable soil management, animal health and public hygiene.This partnership will translate into a number of joint actions aiming at promoting worldwide the existing and emerging technologies in biological crop protection and sustainable soil management. A biocontrol section is being created in every English and Spanish issue of the magazine, as well as a section for IBMA news. News from IBMA members will also be extensively published. New Ag International and IBMA will also cooperate on the occasion of conferences and congresses organized by both organizations. “This partnership will add value to IBMA membership”, said IBMA President Michel Guillon. It will also help IBMA and its members tap into new markets, better communicate with emerging suppliers and increase awareness on biocontrol in crop production in regions outside Europe and North America, particularly in Latin America and in Asia”. With its coverage of the world of biostimulants, New Ag International was already coming nearer plant protection. Hence this partnership in biological plant protection and sustainable soil management is just a natural step for us. We are also convinced that this partnership will help create a networking platform between IBMA members and companies dealing in specialty plant nutrition and biostimulation.
