New Ag International partners with GreenSYS2007
The rapid development of emerging greenhouse technologies in covering materials, structures, plant biotechnologies, crop management, and greenhouse automation, requires that the horticulture community, better understand how these technologies interact with each other and eventually how their effects can be efficiently controlled using innovative strategies. An interdisciplinary group of scientists and industry with interests in plant production, greenhouse engineering, and business development, will convene GreenSYS2007 - High Technology for Greenhouse System Management (High Tech. for Green. Man.), a conference in which crop, environment, management, education, and business development are considered as inter-related aspects of the high technology greenhouse system. New Ag International will be the official partner magazine of the event and will promote the event on a world wide scale.
The conference, which will take place October 4-6, 2007 in Naples (Italy) is placed under the aegis of the ISHS, the European Society of Agricultural Engineers and a number of Italian bodies as well. It is co-organized by the University of Naples and the University of Bari. For more details, see our people and events section or browse the New Ag International web pages. Following the big success of Greensys2004 organized in Belgium, the Naples event promises to be of an outstanding level of quality and attendance. New Ag International will extensively report on the congress in its November 2007 (English) and December 2007 (Spanish) editions.
