Changes at the European Irrigation Association

During its Extraordinary General Assembly that took place in September, the EIA decided to transfer the EIA Headquarters from Mont de Marsan (South West France) to Aix en Provence (South East of France). Such move will facilitate communication within the EIA governing bodies and the contact with a number of members. During the same meeting, Jan Carlo di Paola, the current President of the EIA, announced that he wished to resign from the position. Mr Rolf Kruger of Rain Bird Germany will replace him. A second General Assembly is planned to take place on Friday November 17th in Bologna Italy, during the EIMA show. A new Board of Directors will also be re-elected on this occasion. More information in writing from eia@free.fr or by browsing www.europirrig.com.
