Haifa Chemicals announces new capacity for Calcium Nitrate Greenhouse Grade

Haifa Chemicals recently announced its new capability of supplying Greenhouse Grade Calcium Nitrate. As of early October 2006, Haifa steadily supplied this product at a capacity of several tens of thousands metric tons per year. The new production originates from a Joint Venture set up 3 years ago in Romania with the Romanian company Azumoresh. The deal included the supply of the Know-how by Haifai Chemicals. While Azumoresh manufactures the product, Haifa has got the exclusive marketing rights worldwide. This Greenhouse Grade Calcium Nitrate comes in addition to Haifa’s Calcium Nitrate Agri-Grade, available to the international marketplace for several years now.
