Rivulis has appointed Steve Francis as its new chief executive officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading companies across agriculture, food production, manufacturing, distribution and industrial markets.

Francis has served as a CEO and chairman of multinational businesses, overseeing large-scale operations, global teams and customer networks. His experience spans Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.

Rivulis notes that Francis takes over at a time when demand is growing for irrigation technologies that can help farmers use water more efficiently while maintaining agricultural productivity. The company has a global network of customers, business partners and regional operations, along with a portfolio of micro-irrigation technologies.

Rivulis chairman Erez Meltzer said Francis’ focus on customers and regional teams would support the company’s next stage of development.
