Princess Sofia Gran Hotel ...At the heart of one of the biggest markets for High Tech Agriculture Inputs in the world, the 7th New Ag International Conference & Exhibition will again be the unique place to conclude business and upgrade knowledge in Plant Nutrition, foliar spraying, irrigation, fertigation and greenhouse cropping.
Building on the success of the previous 6 conferences, which attracted delegates from more than 60 countries of the five continents, the Barcelona event will attract even more people from all over the world and in particular from the domestic market and all Latin American markets.

Researchers, Consultants, Distributors, Established Suppliers as well as new and emerging companies in the High Tech Ag sector will come to meet, discuss new cross-partnerships, and hear highest calibre speakers reporting on the latest technical developments and market trends in their field of activity.

The official language of the conference will be English. Spanish simultaneous translation will be provided.

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration Fees will be announced shortly. There will be a highly attractive early bird registration fee for delegates registering before November 30th, 2008.

The fees will include access to the full list of participants, admittance to the presentations, admittance to the exhibition, to cocktail parties (Wednesday, Thursday), to coffee/tea breaks and to two lunches. Papers will be available on request after the conference.

PROVISIONAL CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

The final programme will be published early 2009. It will comprise of keynote lectures and papers (in total about 15-20 speakers). Conference topics will include technical and market developments in Speciality Plant Nutrition, Irrigation, Biological Plant Protection and Greenhouse technology with a focus on some hot themes such as:

  • The likely impact of the REACH regulation on the speciality Plant Nutrition Industry.
  • The Biocontrol Industry capabilities of supplying a growing demand for its products.
  • The latest findings of the research on the micro-irrigation systems and technology.
  • The ability of the cash crops growers to absorb the rising costs of inputs.

Wednesday 25th March, afternoon hours
Registration starts at 12 noon.
Exhibition opens, starting at 2.30pm.
Opening cocktail reception from 7.00pm-9.00pm.

Thursday 26th March
9.30am-11.00am: Welcome address and opening lectures (30 minutes each).
11.00am-11.50am: Coffee break in exhibition area.
11.50am-1.00pm: Technical lectures (20 minutes each).
1.00pm-2,30pm: Lunch break.
2.30pm-4.30pm: Technical lectures (20 minutes each).

Commercial exhibition will run 8.30am–6.00pm.
Mid conference cocktail reception from 7.00pm-9.00pm.

Friday 27th March
9.30am-1.00pm: Technical lectures (20 minutes each).
1.00pm-2,30pm: Lunch break.

Commercial Exhibition will run 8.30am-3.00pm.


EXHIBITION STANDS

There will be an exhibition of small trade stands alongside the conference in the main ballroom. This will be an ideal platform for manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their products to a highly focused and professional local and international audience. A stroll along La Rambla provides the perfect way to get to know the city.
